Assessment

All students whether taking Triple Science or Combined science will sit six papers: two biology, two chemistry and two physics.

Each of the papers will assess knowledge and understanding from distinct topic areas.

Students will be expected to have undertaken core practicals during the course. Science GCSEs are now 100% exam based.

Students will be awarded 3 GCSEs. Students will study all three science subjects achieving a separate GCSE grade in each of Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
