Health and wellbeing

We take a whole school approach to wellbeing. If a child is feeling safe, happy and confident they are more likely to learn at school and progress.

Support in school

At Lift Rawlett, we believe that students thrive when they feel safe, supported, and valued. That’s why every year group is supported by a dedicated Pastoral lead, ensuring that each child is well known and receives the right support at the right time. From academic guidance to personal support, our pastoral team works closely with families to create a caring and responsive environment where every student can succeed.

We take mental health and wellbeing seriously. Our Pastoral Hub is a welcoming space where students can talk, reflect, and reset. We have 3 qualified mental health first aiders across the Safeguarding, Pastoral and SEND departments.  Our school mental health Lead is Mrs Copper.  The pastoral and safeguarding team work closely with external services to provide additional support when needed to fully support our students and their families. The school can arrange access to counselling, mentoring, or targeted interventions where appropriate. At Lift Rawlett, no student faces challenges alone — wellbeing is at the heart of our school community.
